Happy Labor Day all you boaters. I hope you are enjoying the last long weekend on your boats, pushing away thoughts of another long, cold winter as you enjoy the sun and waves at the end of this boating season.
Hopefully, I'll be partaking of a little boating myself on the shores of fabulous Lake Michigan. My family and I are traveling from sunny Florida to the great northern city of Chicago for a wedding. I hear I'm going to freeze, and probably the closest I'm going to get to the Lake Michigan while I am in Chicago is Navy Pier. But, I am looking forward to boating in South Haven, MI on Labor Day. A girl can always hope for steamy Labor Day temps, right? I can remember some really warm Labor Days from my childhood, and I can remember some really chilly, miserable ones, too. We'll just have to see, which is always the case with the weather right?
