Father's Day Gifts for Boating Enthusiasts

From Ericka Watson, About.com GuideJune 8, 2009

With Father's Day only two weeks away, I am desperate for some ideas for my own father who is a Captain of a Lake Michigan charter fishing boat. I've exhausted the usual gifts, and I'm tired of buying a gift card to the local marine store. I would like to get something that will be remembered, but that will also be useful. Since he already has a personalized license plate with his boat's name, I am brainstorming ideas. If you are in the same boat as me (pun intended) this Father's Day, how about a personalized item with the name of his boat?

With Boat Name Gear - you can order polo shirts, hats, sweatshirts and even fender covers and welcome mats that are personalized with the name of the boat. What better way to honor Dad this Father's Day than with an item that can be used for years to come?

What about you? Do you have a great gift idea for this Father's Day? If so, please share it in a comment below.

ReadyCleat is a perfect inexpensive gift for any boater that has rod holders in their boat. It solves a problem and protects the investment.
