Brake Lights for Boats?

Tuesday February 3, 2009

Well ... not quite, but almost.

PWC Industries, Inc. has taken a step towards creating a safer recreational environment for boaters with the ground-breaking Safety Alert System. Mounted to the stern of your boat with Marine Grade materials, the Safety Alert System notifies other boats with a bright LED light that your craft is slowing down. The system can also be put into "distress mode" to alert other boaters that you need assistance.

The Safety Alert System is water and vibration proof, and built to withstand harsh environmental conditions. Todd Bootes the developer of the product and the Director of R&D for PWC Industries Inc. says “The Safety Alert System™ will work on any vessel from a personal watercraft to a large boat."

"What better cause can this company be associated with than helping to reduce injuries, fatalities, damage, costly repairs and downtime to outdoor recreation enthusiasts," said PWC Industries CEO and president Paul Grzebielucha. "We're dedicated to manufacturing dependable, high-quality and easy-to-install products for our customers, the Safety Alert System is no exception."
