Not sure how familar you are with Lake Hartwell, located in the Western end of South Carolina, but the lake is down 18 feet. Due to the low water things like trees and bridges are showing up. I haven’t seen one bridge in over 45 years since they filled the lake in the early 60’s. Every boat ramp on the lake is closed due to low water. Unless you have a big 4 wheel drive, there is no way to launch a boat. The idiots in the bass boats that know only one speed,wide open, are bound to find trees and islands that are just under the surface.
In my sailboat, I have hit trees with the center board so I know they are there.
